I first met Pedro when I did their Discovery session only about a month before the wedding. We went from the Miami Design District and ended the session on the beach. Pedro about 1/2 hour ahead of Rebecca, so we had a bit of time to chat. Pedro is a musician,father, and highly creative person. After only a few minutes I knew he and I would work great together.

When I first spoke to Rebecca in the early spring it was clear that she was quite a busy person. She had a great attitude and was very optimistic but I could sense that budgeting time to handle the immense amount of wedding details was getting to her. At that moment it made perfect sense to recommend my friend Miranda of Sugared Occasions to help manage her wedding. With Miranda's creativity, Rebecca was free to be as imaginative as she liked.

Kevin and Noura did something that most other very busy people don't do. They slowed it all down. On the two occasions that I met them they where happy and relaxed. Both with busy careers in hotel management and fashion, they still took the time to plan all sorts of special little details.

Will and Tina are an awesome couple who have known each other since their high school days. They have the same friends and often times where having fun in the same place at the sametime, but never made it together until years later. Will went on to become a doctor and Tina has owned several businesses. After starting their adult lives, they met up randomly at a get together and the rest is history.

Some of my favorite photographers who influence are landscape and nature photographers. Perhaps this has discouraged me a bit to really dive into natural landscape imagery. But no matter it's not an excuse any longer.

The RX1 is a full frame 24MP fixed focal length 35mm f/2 Zeiss lens camera. The optics on this camera are nothing short of fantastic. Even at the not so portrait like range of 35, the bokeh is smooth and dreamy with very little distortion or vignetting. It has an adequate pop-up flash which works well for fill light and such. Surprisingly, it doesn’t come with a built-in viewfinder of any kind, but does have an accessory shoe onto which you can attach an optical or electronic viewfinder.
